Yunqi Shanqiu云起山丘

Yunqi Shanqiu's full name is "DNβ · Yunqi Shanqiu" Ziyang International Digital Nomad Community. It opened on April 12, 2024 with 36 digital nomads as its first residents — today close to 400 nomads, creators and remote workers from China and abroad have passed through or settled in for a while. It sits in Renli Village, Linjiang Town, inside the airport economic zone around Chengdu Tianfu International Airport — a 25-minute drive away, yet a completely different pace of life: a shared apartment, a 2,364-square-meter coworking space, wood-fired bread and DNβ coffee at a hilltop lookout, and a campsite where you can pitch a tent under the stars. A stretch of hillside farmland has become a live experiment in working while actually living somewhere. By late 2024 a second phase — the Saye-Lechong pet camp (Ziyang's largest pet-focused venue), the Renli Art Hotel and the Miaoye Mountain House restaurant — had entered trial operation, and the community keeps expanding. For most overseas visitors this isn't a conventional sight — it's a window onto China's experiment in blending remote work with rural revival.
