Our mission
We turn a vague wish — a quieter city, mountain access, a creative community, a month by the sea — into places you can compare and practical steps you can act on.
Our goal is not to rank every destination. It is to help you understand what a place actually feels like, what the trade-offs are, and whether it fits the life you want.
What we cover
Paralight publishes public place profiles, curated routes, and a practical China arrival guide. Coverage currently focuses on travel, medium-term stays, remote life, transport, payments, connectivity, accommodation registration, and everyday experience in China.
Coverage is selective and incomplete. A place appearing on Paralight is not an endorsement, and a place not appearing is not a negative judgment.
